After discussing my goals for my physical and dietary health, I’m going to change gears a little by focusing on a facet of health that is oft overlooked; mental health.
Over the past year I went through a tremendous amount of personal growth to go along with my physical weight loss. While they may seem like different aspects of overall health, they were directly related for me. The correlation was evident right away, as my a new sense of self worth and pride helped to fuel my weight loss, which in turn gave me higher self-worth.
This beneficial cycle kept up through out the year, wether it was positive or negative. As my mood ebbed and flowed, so did my weight. After much refection on the subject I’ve decided that it would be fruitless of me to include physical resolutions without adding in some mental ones as well.
